This workshop doesn’t jump straight into action – instead, it explores the tantalizing space before things heat up:
What sparks my desire?
What gets me in the mood?
A glance, a scent, a word, a gesture – the devil is in the details.
And because of that, we’re often unaware of what truly turns us on. But the good news is: Turn-ons can be played with! Many will discover that what happens before sex can often be even sexier than sex itself.
What turns you on?
- Are you aroused by the forbidden?
- Does desire grow when satisfaction is within reach but not yet fulfilled?
- Can certain bodily or sensory stimuli make your blood rush?
- Do romance or reliability turn you on?
- Do you crave clarity and directness?
- …
Through 5-minute games in small groups, we’ll explore different categories of turn-ons and give them our personal, customized twist. Maybe you’ll ask someone to stretch luxuriously until the waistband of their pants reveals a sliver of hipbone – because that sight drives you wild. Maybe someone will do push-ups while saying your name over and over. Or maybe you’ll ask someone to bite into a cucumber close to your ear – because, yes, that’s your thing. Anything goes, as long as it’s consensual for everyone involved.
Personal experiences, anecdotes, film scenes, pulp fiction, and TikTok thirst traps serve as our pool of inspiration. We’ll shamelessly borrow what makes us giggle with excitement and stomp our feet in delight: the casual lean in a doorway, the absent-minded playing with rings, a tender tuck of hair behind an ear, or that delicious moment when someone grabs your hips and pulls you close…
Embodied warm-up and sharing rounds at the beginning help generate and realize ideas. At the end, we’ll reflect on what it’s like to indulge in so many appetizers without moving on to the main course – and what we want to do with all that heat we’ve built.
